Tree Nose
For my prosthetics class at UNCSA with Holland Berson we had a project to create a nose prosthetic. I chose to create a character as a unique twist on Pinocchio’s growing wooden nose. The process started with making a face mold of the model and casting a concrete face to sculpt on. I then sculpted the nose with monster clay and made the tree detachable and reusable out of wire, clay, and moss. I made a mold for the nose and cast it in latex. After pre-painting and attaching the nose, I put it on my model for the photoshoot.
