Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime
Virginia Repertory Theatre
Richmond, VA
Set Design by Tennessee Dixon
This production was on the main stage in the November Theatre and directed by the Arts Director, Nathaniel Shaw. Based on the book, this play was designed to be somewhat minimalist with a hybrid of projection mapping and props telling the story. For this show, I made and sourced most of the props myself, which included a rig for a letter drop and a model train set that went through a model of Swindon to London. We also had to label over 50 cans to be Tribute beer that could be crushed on stage in each show, and many props to help communicate the locations of the play.
