Powering Creativity UNCSA Window Display

This animated window display was made for the UNCSA library and was designed and built by a class of five to show the school theme, “Powering Creativity.” The school mascot is a pickle, so we created pickle caricatures of each school. During the design phase of the project, we each designed one character to represent each school. As the designated director of the project, I designed and built the set for each pickle and animated and created the Music pickle “cloud” and the Dance “cloud”. The trumpet and skeleton for the pickle were modeled in Fusion 360 and 3D printed. The pickle body and face were sculpted and cast with plastic to create a hollow shell. The animation was powered by a servo and an arduino.
