Gold Bible

For the opera, Volpone. We took a large bible and I made a new cover for it and gold painted the edges. The cover was laser etched with a Glowforge on ¼” acrylic from a design I made in Photoshop glued onto piano hinges. The clasps were a combination of gold leather, decorative hinges, and small knobs. The cover after being painted was attached to the block with PH glue and marbled pages.
