Vampire Coffin
Built for UNCSA Vampyre’s Vanity Escape Room Directed by Becca Morgan, this coffin was constructed of poplar and plywood, and upholstered with satin facing and filled with batting. The lid contained a mag lock and spring pin to open the coffin lid to reveal a skeleton with the crystal heart when solved. It was designed to be light enough to carry around a tight corner that was on narrow stairs. Friends was referenced a lot at this load in while we pivoted it up to the space.
The coffin is wood grained to match the wood paneling in the room, but darkened enough to show its age and stand out.
